The proposal in 60 seconds

  • NBA Cup = calendar-year league title: Jan 1 to Dec 25 (regular season only). Scoring: Reg W = 3, OT W = 1, Loss = 0.

  • Zenith Week = Top 8 sprint (standalone): Cup table locks after Christmas Day games → QF host (higher seed) → neutral-site SF + Jan 1 Final. Zenith games do not count in the 82. Cup champion is crowned by Christmas.

  • All-Star fix: East vs West, team jerseys, 2x24 halves, 4-point test zones (All-Star only), and winning conference chooses Finals travel format (2-2-1-1-1 or 2-3-2).
